Each year, the FIA sets up a world racing championship (Formula One) where teams design, build and drive 2 cars each around several tracks all over the world in a race (Grand Prix) of around 300km. The driver that covers that distance in less time wins the race, and it also gets awarded 10 points for the World Driver Championship as well as the maker of the car gets another 10 points for the World Constructor Championship. Some of the other cars/drivers will get also points for both championships according the following table:

PositionPoints
First10
Second8
Third6
Fourth5
Fifth4
Sixth3
Seventh2
Eighth1

The points are only awarded if the car/driver finishes the race. At the end of the year, the driver and the maker with more points accumulated win the WDC or WCC.

Here, I do propose a new way to award points in each race (see the next sections for the explanation).
